Nanay Lucing! ( Western Visayas Culture and Tradition) Binukot's daughter

Binuko t is a word for confinement, seclusion, or restriction. The root word Bukot means be blanketing, swaddling of oneself. This was a pre-hispanic exercise which still exist up to this day in some part of the country. Nanay Lucing, was one of the daughters of the Binukot, her mother was obviously a Binukot, but nanay Lucing however was not in her time. She is a wife of GAMABA   awardee Federcio Caballero, a prominent chanter of Sugidanon. Federico Caballero or Tatay Pedring,  is a  Sulod-Bukidnon  epic chanter from  Kalinog ,  Iloilo . I was wearing a scarf made by Nanay Lucing. She tied it on my head before we took a photo. I was proud of this moment having a pose with her.
